Super Smash Bros. Brawl Now available at the Arcade

Just one day after it’s North American release we are proud to announce that the English version of quite possibly the biggest video game of 2008 is now available for play at the Area 51 video game arcade at Shop #5 Clocktower Plaza, Half Way Tree, Jamaica!

Check out the Gametrailers.com review of Super Smash Bros. Brawl which is only available on the Nintendo Wii below and join in and talk about the game in the Smash bros Brawl topic on the forums.

Registration for Inter-arcade FIFA 2008 League open

Registration for Inter-arcade FIFA 2008 League at the Area 51 video game arcade is now open. Registration costs $1000 and only the first 20 entries will be accepted for the competition. A soon as 20 entries are received a follow up will be made detailing the rules and formated of the competition. Please contact Christopher, Marsha or Milton at the arcade to register and feel free to ask any wuestion in the Inter-arcade FIFA 2008 League section of thr area51jamaica.com forums.

Area 51 Youtube Channel Launched

There is now a Area 51 Youtube Channel where videos of events, games and idleness at the arcade will be posted.

Area 51 now open on Sundays

As some of you know Area 51 is now open on Sundays.

Opening hours are from midday to 7pm and entry cost is only $500, which will collected upon entry. That $500 will allow you play any game on any system all day. We are going for an even more laid back feel and all games available at the shop will be on display and customers can just pick and choose which games they want to play and change anytime.

Many specials are being planned for Sundays, so stay tuned to Area51Jamaica.com and the arcade for more info.
